Dear Friends of Tianna,

Welcome to the 2010 golfing season.  The emergence of spring and with it the opening of the course are always welcome events.  As we enter this season, our normal excitement is tempered by a great loss.  John Johnson has been an integral part of Tianna Country Club for over four decades.  His presence will be greatly missed.  The Board is pleased to report that the Johnson family’s legacy at the Club will continue.  At its January meeting the Board acted to appoint Carrie Johnson as our Club Manager.

2010 continued to be a difficult time for our country’s economy.  The economic situation that has impacted all of us in a variety of ways has also impacted our Club.  In view of the economic situation, the Board has determined that MEMBERSHIP RATES FOR 2010 WILL REMAIN THE SAME AS IN 2008 AND 2009. In addition, each member will receive a coupon for one free round of golf for a guest.

Tianna’s Board of Directors hopes to continue all the services, great playing conditions and hours of operation we have enjoyed, but expenses are increasing.  To maintain our services, we must maintain or increase our membership.  A stable financial future for our Club will be insured if our membership grows.  We need your help in making this happen.  We ask that you encourage friends or acquaintances to consider a Tianna membership.  A MEMBER WHO BRINGS IN NEW MEMBERS WILL EARN  $100.00 TIANNA BUCKS TO BE USED IN THE CLUBHOUSE FOR EACH NEW MEMBERSHIP.

Your past association with Tianna Country Club is greatly appreciated.  Your membership and encouragement of others to join will assure a great golf season in 2010 and a sound financial future for our Club as well.

Listed below are the membership rates, options and perks for 2010:

Corporate membership: Corporate members must be employed by the business. There is room for up to 6 members or you may leave a spot or two open to entertain clients.

Family membership: Please list the names of all family members included under your membership.  This membership includes children 18 and under.

Twilight memberships: Twilight membership is for players who play after 2:30 p.m. daily. If you tee off before 2:30pm you will be required to pay green fees. Tee times are suggested.

Cart Owners (Storage & Usage)
Gas Cart Storage:  $230.00                             Electric Cart Storage:  $255.00     Usage:  $350.00
There is no outside cart storage permitted and you must be a member to store your cart in the shed.

Seasonal Cart Renters
Couples:  $775.00                                               Single:  $525.00
An individual or a couple may have a cart made available for them when they play golf.  Please remember to reserve your cart when you make your tee time.

Membership Perks
Pick up your membership card and use it for: 

• $25 green fee at LongBow Golf Club
• Discount on regular green fees at the Minnesota Golf Trail courses in June, July and August.
• 10% Discount in the Tianna Pro Shop.

Rider’s Fee
The rider’s fee will still be in effect for $8. The privately owned carts and annual couple leased carts are allowed to have only immediate family members or other cart owners to ride with them. Any person that is not a cart owner or annual cart renter and rides on a private cart must pay a rider’s fee to ride on the course.  

Shareholders
You may reduce your membership by $20 for every share of stock you own.
